The Taller or shorter?
Does it matter who a nation chooses as its top leader?
Yes, apparently, voters see tall politicians as better suited for leadership.
The prime minister of India is the leader of the executive branch of the Government of India. The prime minister is the chief adviser to the president of India and the head of the Union Council of Ministers.
New research in evolutionary psychology calls it 'caveman politics', or the way the violent history of human civilization has led to an evolved preference for physically strong leaders. Apparently, it's for that reason we often call our top politicians 'giants' or 'titans'. With our political leaders set to square off in Elections.
take a look at our 14 PMs and their stature: Seven are pretty short, four were of average height and only three were tall. Obviously, height doesn't matter for us. Perhaps, caveman politics was not a part of India's past?
